  • Work related issues
Picture
These issues can result in increased anxiety, stress and depression. I can work with you in a non-directive (led by you) way or more of a structured (direct) method to help alleviate the intensity of ‘how it currently is’ by unpicking the difficulties that you are living with, to enable you  to heal and become more in control of your life.

During our initial phone call/email if you would like to proceed with therapy, we will arrange an appointment to meet.  At our first session we will assess how best to work together, whether it be of brief or open-ended duration and the appropriate therapeutic approach to be used. As the sessions progress, we will review our work together at regular intervals ensuring we are working in the most effective way.

For you, I will provide a confidential, safe, non-judgemental, empathetic space for you to share your thoughts and feelings.

The presenting issues clients often seek help with are the tip of the iceberg they can see or are aware of.  In therapy we can uncover what is under the water – an unawareness we can explore together, making real sense of how it is or could be.
FEEDBACK AND TESTIMONIALS
Therapy not only affects the client but impacts on the lives of those around them:

Ann:
‘Julie has helped me enormously in understanding myself and my reactions to circumstances.  She has equipped me with tools to process things I get stuck with and manage my anxiety which tries to return at times’

Whilst seeing a client on our ending session, he received a message through on his Smartphone from his Dad:
‘Tell Julie she’s a legend for giving me back my son’

Mel:
‘Through our sessions I have learned to look at myself positively and see my battles and my suffering in a whole new light.
Rather than fighting life, I have now learned to live and enjoy everything in my world that was once so frightening.
Our sessions have enabled me to better understand my role as a mum and to improve my relationship with my children. As a result of my new strength, I see my children coping better too!’
