Hi, I'm Julie . Welcome to a place to find yourself, be understood and make sense of who you are, enabling movement to a more fulfilling and positive life. I offer counselling / psychotherapy to fit your unique and individual needs.
There's an abundance of issues that can massively affect your life and overall well-being. These issues may have stemmed from your early years or may have evolved more recently, either way, triggered by your life experience. You may be depressed, stressed or anxious with underlying concerns and finding life extremely hard. Covid has been difficult for so many of us. It may have disturbed your Mental Health (MH) and you may need to reconfigure your perspective on life.

We can work together to explore how it is for you, unlocking hidden choices by tapping into your unawareness and uncovering a new way of being.
Before we begin, we would have an initial phone/email conversation. This is to enable me to understand your difficulties and expectations, so we can discuss the way forward together. If you would like to proceed, we would then make an appointment to meet.
The delivery of therapy is down to you – Face to Face, Zoom, Phone, Email or with horses.
I accept both self-referrals and referrals from Local Authorities, Employee Assisted Programmes and other organisations to work with young people and adults on a one-to-one basis, couples and families. I also work with Counselling students.

ABOUT ME
I am fascinated with people and have amassed a life experience of being, supporting and working with young people, adults and families in various settings, achieving positive outcomes.
I am qualified at post-graduate level with a MSc in Counselling Psychology at Keele University and through continued learning I draw on different therapeutic approaches to suit your specific needs. These include Attachment Focussed (DDP), Solution Focussed, Loss & Bereavement, Couples/Relationship Therapy and Eagala Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/Learning.
Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I hold an Enhanced DBS, ICO registration, Safeguarding certification, and insurance.
